Event overview
The Medal Madness event takes place on March 14, 2026, at Vietnam Veterans Park in Concord, North Carolina (760 Orphanage Rd, Concord, NC 28027). The event includes the following race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. Registration fees increase on the Monday before the race. Finisher medals, awards, a shirt and gear shop, and a best costume contest are listed as part of the event offerings.
Course and logistics
The courses are out-and-back routes. The 5K course completes the out-and-back once; the 10K completes it twice. The half marathon completes an out-and-back four times. The surface is mainly paved with a stretch of gravel or dirt, and the course is described as shaded. There is a 3 hour and 30 minute course time limit.
Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race. The event is based at the Dogwood Shelter; bathrooms are located in the right corner of the parking lot on first entry.
