Event overview
The Happy Holidays race takes place on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, in Belmont Shores, Long Beach, at the beach path near 54th Place and Ocean Blvd (5400 E. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90803). Distances offered are:
- 5k
- 10k
- 15k
- Half marathon
The course is an open beach-path route with marked out-and-back loops. The 10k is two 5k loops, the 15k is three 5k loops, and the half marathon uses three 4.36-mile loops. An aid station at the turnaround/start/finish provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. The organizer notes a 3 hour 15 minute time limit for the half marathon.
Registration and logistics
Registration is available via Active.com or PayPal; participants should use one method only. After PayPal registration, participants receive a confirmation email within about 12 hours. The event has a no-refund policy; transfers require a request to the organizer by email. Results are posted on the event website within 12 to 24 hours.
