The Harding Hustle takes place Saturday, July 18, 2026, in the Cleveland National Forest near Modjeska Canyon / Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary, Silverado, CA. Distances offered:
- 50K - time limit 9 hours; elevation gain 5,926 ft; max elevation 5,661 ft
- 30K - time limit 7.5 hours; elevation gain 3,482 ft; max elevation 4,477 ft
- 15K - time limit 6 hours; elevation gain 2,088 ft; max elevation 3,327 ft
Race entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. Bib pickup is on race morning at the start line. Registration closes July 13, 2026.
Course and logistics
All courses run primarily on the Harding Truck Trail jeep road in the Santa Ana Mountains and Cleveland National Forest. The event is held on 4x4 jeep trails and runners may encounter off-road vehicle traffic. Aid stations are placed on course and some have cutoff times; the event provides water and ice.
This is a cupless event; reusable cups are available for purchase or entrants may bring their own. Organizers may require a minimum water carry based on projected temperatures and recommend capacity for at least one liter between aid stations. Pacers are not allowed and on-course crew support is not permitted. Parking is not allowed at Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary; a shuttle is used for access and runner dropoff at the sanctuary is allowed. Finish-line drop bags are permitted; no on-course drop bags. Volunteer shifts include race credits and race swag. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
