Harvest Moon Run
Harvest Moon Run is a nighttime 5K run and walk in Route 66 State Park in Eureka, Missouri. Now in its 14th year, the glow-style event features a paved, mostly flat course illuminated by pathlighters and Energizer-headlight-lit participants as they head to a moonlit finish. 5K runners receive a long-sleeve shirt and an Energizer headlight; kids can take part in free Mini Moonie Dash (4 & under), Moonie Half Mile (5–7), and Moonie Mile (8–10).
Proceeds support the Hunger Mission and area food pantries; organizers encourage canned-food donations (“Fill a Ford with Food”). Medals are awarded to overall male and female winners and to first place in nine age brackets. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
