About the race
Harvest Moon Run is a nighttime 5K run and walk in Route 66 State Park, Eureka, Missouri. The mostly flat, paved course is illuminated by pathlighters and glow from the park, guiding runners to a moonlit finish. 5K participants receive an Energizer headlight and a long-sleeve shirt; medals go to the overall winners and top finishers in nine age groups.
The event also features a free Mini Moonie Dash (1/10 mile) and kids’ distances: Moonie Half Mile (1/2 mile) and Moonie Mile (1 mile). Proceeds support the Hunger Mission and local pantries; a Fill the Ford food drive collects canned and boxed items. Live music and an upbeat MC enhance the glow.
