Hatcher Pass 50 Mile
The Hatcher Pass 50 Mile, Marathon, and Relay is a scenic running event held in Palmer, Alaska, within the picturesque Hatcher Pass area of the Matanuska-Susitna Valley. The race features a challenging marathon with approximately 3,900 feet of elevation gain, primarily uphill over the first 25 miles, finishing with a downhill stretch to the iconic Hatcher Pass Lodge. The 50 Mile race, in its second year, covers roughly 54 miles by running back-to-back marathons from the lodge to Willow and back.
Relay options include 3-person marathon teams and 50-mile teams, with exchange points along the course. Charity bibs are available, waiving registration fees with fundraising commitments. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
