Hearts and Souls 5K
The Hearts and Souls 5K takes place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Calhoun City Recreation Park, 10 McDaniel Station Rd, Calhoun, GA 30701. The event is the second annual Hearts and Souls 5K and is organized by members of the South Calhoun Baptist Church. Proceeds will provide materials for minor home repairs for the elderly, literature for a jail ministry, and support other local missions. Events include:

- Kids Fun Run
- GHOST RUNNER option

Pre-race registration fees are $30 for the 5K and GHOST RUNNER, and $20 for the Kids Fun Run. Online registration closes February 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern. Both the start and finish lines are located in the Calhoun City Recreation Department (park) at the listed address. There is race-day parking in the park adjacent to the ball fields and the start/finish area. Pre-registration packet pick up is scheduled for Friday, February 14 at South Calhoun Baptist Church, 500 Pine St., Calhoun, GA. Awards will be given to top overall male and female finishers, top masters male and female, and top three males and females in multiple age categories from 10 and under through 70 and over.
