Hellz Bellz Ultra

Hellz Bellz Ultra is a challenging 50-mile trail race held in Yacolt, Washington, starting at Yacolt Recreation Park. The course features a tough climb up Bells Mountain, multiple clear cuts, stream crossings, and stunning views of Mt. St.

Helens. Around mile 10, runners reach the Yacolt Burn Aid Station before embarking on a 22-mile counterclockwise loop on the technical Tarbell Trail, which includes waterfalls and scenic vistas. The race finishes with a 10-mile descent back down Bells Mountain, where participants "Ring the Bell." The event includes four fully stocked aid stations and allows one small drop bag.

A Purgatory Trail Marathon is also offered for those seeking a shorter distance. Camping and local festivities coincide with the race weekend. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
