About the race
The 6th Annual Heroes On The Run in Bend, Oregon, takes place at Riverbend Park. The dog-friendly event offers multiple distances, including 5K Run/Walk, 10K Run/Walk, Youth 5K and Youth 10K, plus a Kids Mini Run. The day combines racing with a welcoming atmosphere featuring a Beer Garden, live entertainment, a Kid Zone, raffles, and adoptable dogs ready to meet new families.
Proceeds support Street Dog Hero’s rescue work and life-saving spay/neuter clinics, with a fundraising goal of $100,000. Participants can run or walk solo, with friends, or with their leashed canine companions to help dogs in need. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
