Three Sisters Skyline takes place on September 19, 2026 in Sisters, Oregon. The event starts at Village Green City Park and both races finish in the town of Sisters. Registration opens March 1, 2026.
- 50K - trail race to the edge of the Three Sisters Wilderness
- Half Marathon - point-to-point trail race, net downhill
Course details and policies
The 50K follows mostly single-track trails through Ponderosa pine stands, areas of regrowth after a 2012 forest fire, alpine meadows, and a mountain stream. The first 9.7 miles climb about 2,300 feet to the first aid station outside the Three Sisters Wilderness, then returns with a descent to the second aid station and on to the finish. The course lists approximately 3,700 feet of total climbing and 4,700 feet of descent. About 95% of the 50K is on single-track trails. There are three fully stocked aid stations on the 50K.
The half marathon is point to point with a net downhill of about 1,500 feet and about 500 feet of total gain. About 85% of the half marathon is on single-track trails with one aid station at mile 7.1.
The event policy states there are no transfers to other runners. Cancellations more than 30 days before the race may receive a 50% credit toward the same event next year; cancellations within 30 days receive no credit. If the organizer cancels and the event cannot be rescheduled, refunds or credits will not be issued. Registration fees support the Sisters Trail Alliance.
