About the race
Hickory Flatout 5K is an annual community race held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Canton, Georgia (4096 East Cherokee Drive). The event features a chip-timed 5K road race on a mostly flat, out-and-back course with a few rolling hills, designed for speed and accessibility, plus a kid’s Fun Run packed with obstacles.
Proceeds benefit Hide and Seek Day Camp, reflecting a neighborhood-friendly atmosphere on Labor Day. The course is USATF-certified, and the day also includes a phantom runner option for supporters.
