Hickory Flatout
The Hickory Flatout 5K is an annual chip-timed road race held every Labor Day at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Canton, Georgia. The mostly flat course with a few rolling hills follows an out-and-back route starting and finishing at the church.
The event supports the Hide and Seek Day Camp through race proceeds. In addition to the 5K, there is a kid's Fun Run featuring fun obstacles inspired by the summer camp experience. Participants unable to run can register as Phantom Runners and still receive a race day t-shirt.
The race fosters a community atmosphere with opportunities for all ages to participate. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
