Hillbilly Half Race Series

The Hillbilly Half Race Series - Run for the Kids is held annually in Pikeville, Kentucky, coinciding with the Hillbilly Days festival. The 2026 event offers multiple distances including a half marathon, 10K, 5K, a 2-mile walk (not timed), and a free kids fun run. The half marathon course features a mix of paved downtown streets and scenic trails with challenging inclines on wide, paved or gravel paths, providing a unique "off-roading" experience.
