Holiday Lights 5K : event details
The Holiday Lights 5K takes place on November 22, 2025, at Cherokee County Veteran's Park / Veteran's Memorial Park in Canton, GA (7345 Cumming Highway). The course runs through the park’s Holiday Light Display and includes a tunnel of lights on each lap. The finish area is at the Buzz Center and includes a visit from Santa. All finishers receive a participant medal. A race shirt is guaranteed in the registered size for entries completed by 11/3/25; after that date shirts are available while supplies last. A head lamp or light is suggested for participants. Proceeds from the event benefit the charity Speed for Need. Teams of five or more can form a timed 5K team and receive a $5 discount per person beginning July 5.
Course, entries and logistics
The course is a Peachtree Qualifier (USATF Course #GA20006DJ), 100% inside Veteran’s Park, described as flat and chip timed. Entry options include:
- 5K in-person - chip timed
- 5K Wheelchair Driver / Track Commander - for wheelchair riders and pushers
- Virtual 5K
Race day packet pick-up and in-person registration are available. Parking is provided off-site at Revolution Church (125 Union Hill Trail, Canton) with shuttle service to and from the park. Showing a race bib provides free entry to drive through the lights after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
