The Holly Jolly 5K & Fun Run is scheduled for Saturday, December 6, 2025 in Allen, TX at 100 E Main Street (corner of Main Street and Austin Drive). The event offers multiple participation options:
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- 5K Timed
- 5K Untimed (3.1 miles)
Entry fees listed for the events are $20 for the Fun Run, $28 for the Untimed 5K, and $35 for the Timed 5K. The Timed 5K fee increases after November 18, 2025. The event is followed by a downtown holiday festival and a tree lighting.
Logistics, awards and benefits
Packet pickup is scheduled in the days prior to the race at Allen Parks and Recreation Administrative Building, 301 Century Parkway, Allen, TX. Race day packet pickup is at the white tent on the corner of S Ash Drive and E Main Street in downtown Allen. Free parking is available on a first-come basis across downtown; some roads and lots will be closed on race day. A free shuttle is provided from Lowrey Freshman Center, 368 N Greenville Avenue.
Awards for the Timed 5K include overall male and female, masters and grand masters, plus three-deep age-group awards for male and female divisions (age brackets from 7 & under up to 75+). Awards must be picked up in person at the ceremony. Registrations that select an Allen ISD or Lovejoy ISD school will contribute $5 to that school’s physical education program. The race director may delay, shorten, alter, or cancel the event for unsafe weather conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
