Holo Kahakai 1/2 Marathon Fun Run

The Holo Kahakai Fun Run, organized by Big Island Road Runners, takes place in Pahoa, Hawaii, starting at Kahakai Park. Scheduled for June 14, 2025, the event offers three distances: 5K, 10K, and a half marathon. Participants enjoy a scenic course along Old Government Beach Road, shaded by old growth mango and lauhala trees.

Half marathon runners extend their route to Highway 132 before turning back. Aid stations are available, but runners are encouraged to bring their own hydration. The event fosters a friendly atmosphere with snacks provided at the finish.
