The Home For The Holidays 5K takes place in Medina, New York, on Saturday, November 29, 2025. The course starts in the Canal District behind Captain Kidz Restaurant at 143 East Center Street and finishes in front of the American Legion Hall Post 204 at 305 N. Main Street. The race is held in conjunction with Medina's Olde Tyme Christmas Celebration. Proceeds from the event are donated to the Annual Veterans Christmas Drive to provide local veterans with Christmas gifts. A post-race celebration will be held at the American Legion Hall at the finish; pizza will be served and the bar will be open.
Registration, timing and awards
Online registration is available until the race is full. Entry fees are $30 through October 31 and $35 thereafter through race day. Race shirts are guaranteed for registrants who sign up by November 18, 2025; any extra shirts will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis on race morning. A mail-in option is available but requires submission of both the event waiver and the USATF liability waiver. Chip finish timing is provided using Jaguar Electronic RFID by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated in real time and can be accessed through the event timing platforms; finisher photos and custom finisher certificates are available after the race. Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female. Certificates are available for the listed age groups from 10 and under through 70 and older.
