Hooters River, Roots & Ruts Trail Run : January 4, 2026, Alva, FL
The event is held at Caloosahatchee Regional Park, 19130 North River Road, Alva, FL 33920. The race uses trails on both sides of the park: wide nature trails on the south side and single-lane mountain bike trails on the north side. The course is a 10 Mile Trail Run with a 3-hour course time limit. The field is limited to 350 participants and there will be no race day registration.
Registration, awards and proceeds
Online registration closes on January 3, 2026. Pricing windows listed include an early price of $45 ($36 for Fort Myers Track Club members) and a late price of $60 ($48 for members). Packet pick-up is at the park pavilion on race morning. Awards are based on chip time and include overall, masters, grand masters, senior grand masters (top three male and female in each) and age group awards (top three male and female in standard age brackets). All finishers receive a shirt and a glass tumbler with the event pig logo. The event is sanctioned by the Fort Myers Track Club and proceeds support the club, its youth and scholarship programs, trail maintenance by the Mudcutters Bicycle Club, and Fort Myers High School cross country and track programs.
