The Hopewell Valley Vineyards Wine Run 5k takes place on Saturday, May 9, 2026 in Pennington, New Jersey at Hopewell Valley Vineyards, 46 Yard Road. The event features a 5 km chip-timed run/walk scored by J3 Timing, with results posted online. Registration is open to ages 1 to 99. The posted entry fee is $30, with a discounted rate of $25 for ages 1-20. The 5k route tours the vineyards and both starts and finishes at the winery; organizers note the course is not designed for personal best times.

Registration items include a Super Soft ring spun cotton t-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a chip-timed race bib, and a pour of wine. Minors receive the discounted registration package but do not receive a wine glass or a wine pour. Packet pickup is race day only and opens one hour before the event. A virtual participation option is available and packets can be shipped for a shipping and handling charge. Free race photos are available for download.
Age group awards are offered for top three male and female finishers in 10-year categories (1-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & over); awards must be picked up the day of the event and will not be shipped. Dogs are allowed on leash but not inside the winery; strollers are permitted but not recommended due to uneven ground. Food and live music will be available at the winery after the event.
