Hopkins Freedom Run 5K

The Hopkins Freedom Run 5K is an annual running event held in Hopkins, Michigan, returning after a brief hiatus. The race features a flat 3.1-mile course through the village and township, making it accessible for runners and walkers of all levels. In addition to the main 5K run, there is a 5K walk and a 1-mile fun run designed for children aged 13 and under.

The event serves as a kickoff to the local 4th of July festival, creating a festive and community-oriented atmosphere. Packet pickup takes place at the Hopkins High School Track.
