Hot 2 Trot : Canton, GA
Hot 2 Trot is scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Boling Park, 1200 Marietta Highway, Canton, GA. The event offers two timed formats:
- 8-hour
- 4-hour
There are awards for the top three male and top three female finishers in each format. Entry fees start at $65 for the 8-hour and $45 for the 4-hour. GUTS members receive a $5 discount. No refunds and no transfers.
Course, aid, and safety
The course is an approximately 1 mile loop composed of grass, trail, and hard packed dirt. The route is described as flatter and more level, with no significant elevation change. One aid station is located at the start/finish and will provide water, electrolyte drink, sodas, ice, and typical ultrarunning snacks such as chips, cookies, candy, pickles, and likely popsicles and watermelon. Runners may set up personal tents around the start/finish.
Race organizers will not provide pain killers of any type. Competitors must provide their own electrolyte pills. The event notes high summer temperatures and humidity in the area and highlights the risk of hyponatremia and dehydration; the race director may remove any participant judged to be in danger.
