Houston’s 12K of Christmas takes place on December 20, 2025, at Sam Houston Park, 1000 Bagby St, Houston, TX. The 2025 edition is the event's 13th year and serves as the ninth race in the Houston Holiday Series. The event is presented by Houston Running Co. and lists several local sponsors.

The in-person 12K is run as two loops and the 6K as one loop. The Kids/Family event is a 1K walk.
Logistics and awards
Packet pick-up is available at Sun & Ski Sports, 6100 Westheimer Rd; an option for Race Day packet pick-up is offered for a $15 fee. Parking is available downtown; some lots require payment. All participants receive chip timing, a finisher medal for Houston's 12K of Christmas, and a unisex t-shirt. Post-race features include live music, hot cocoa, cookies, and Karbach beer. The event lists awards for Top 3 Overall Male/Female, Top 3 Masters Overall Male/Female, and 1st Place Age Group awards in 10-year divisions; age group awards must be claimed at the awards tent on Race Day.
