About the race
Incline Vista, held near Redmond, Oregon, offers two mountain trail distances: 20 miles and 15 miles. Billed as an early-season opener and a local favorite, the race climbs Cline Butte for sweeping, 360-degree views of the Cascades to the west and Smith Rock and Ochoco Mountains to the east. The 20-mile course features about 2,000 feet of elevation gain, while the 15-mile route climbs roughly 1,600 feet.
Runners encounter a mix of smooth runnable sections, technical rocky trails, and ascents and descents on newly connected trails. This is the first trail race on Cline Butte, run by Alpine Running Co. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
