About the race
Iron Turkey is the 16th annual Thanksgiving Day 5K in El Paso, Texas. The event is limited to 1,000 participants and takes place at Up and Running, 3233 N Mesa, El Paso 79902. It features no race-day registration, with packet pickup on preceding days.
Participants receive a 4-way stretch long-sleeve technical shirt and a finisher medal, with refreshments available at the finish. Awards go to the top male and female finishers, plus age-group medals. Proceeds benefit the ALS Association New Mexico.
