Irvine/Orange County Turkey Trot 5K
The Irvine/Orange County Turkey Trot 5K & 1 Mile is a festive Thanksgiving Day running event held at Irvine Valley College in Irvine, California. Participants can choose from a 5K Turkey Trot, a 1 Mile Turkey Dash, a Turkey Feast Combo (both 1 mile and 5K), a Kid's Gobble Wobble with various short-distance races, or a Virtual Run. The flat, scenic course loops around the college campus, passing citrus groves and pumpkin patches, and is stroller and walker friendly.
All finishers receive custom cast medals, fun turkey-themed shirts, race bibs, and a slice of fresh pumpkin pie. The event features chip timing, age division awards, costume contests, and supports local food drives. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
