Irvine/Orange County Turkey Trot 5K & 1 Mile
The Irvine/Orange County Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Irvine Valley College in Irvine, CA. The event uses a flat, scenic course around the college perimeter and includes out-and-back routes for the 1 mile and children’s races. The 5k is chip timed. Participants receive a custom cast finisher medal, an event shirt, a race bib, and a slice of pumpkin pie at the finish.

The Turkey Feast Combo requires completing the 1 mile within 30 minutes to be eligible to start the 5k. The 5k uses professional chip timing and posts results. Age-division awards are given three deep across five-year spans from youth through 80 and over; trophies are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Costume awards are offered for best dressed (individual or groups up to six). Early packet pick up is scheduled the day before at Road Runner Sports in Laguna Hills; race day packet pick up is available on campus at the quad in front of the performance arts theater. Parking requires a $5 pass displayed on the dash; entrance is allowed on Jeffrey Avenue. The event benefits South County Outreach and Urban Health Alliance and includes a food drive at packet pick up and race registration.
