The 8-mile route goes around Lake Carolyn and through the Las Colinas Urban Center. The 5K follows a flat out-and-back along Las Colinas Boulevard. Registration includes a gender-specific performance shirt, a custom finisher medal with bottle opener, a race bib with timing chip, chip timing, free professional HD photos, and a bag check. Race operations include street closures and traffic control by off-duty police officers. Live tracking is available through the RaceJoy app with mile-by-mile progress alerts. A pre- and post-race festival at the Toyota Music Factory includes live music and food and beverage coupons; one beverage coupon can be used for beer for participants 21 and older. Age-group awards are given for multiple categories and the event runs a team challenge with trophies for fastest team, most participation, and best dressed. Packet pickup is listed at the Omni Las Colinas Hotel. Parking is available at the Urban Towers garage; a credit-card parking fee applies.
