Island Running Festival
The Island Running Festival, organized by Outfront Endurance, takes place on Alameda Point, California, featuring a single day of racing with a Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K. The event highlights scenic routes around the island, including new running trails, the estuary shoreline, and views of the USS Hornet and San Francisco skyline. Starting and finishing at Faction Brewery, the festival offers a flat, fast, two-loop half marathon course due to local construction.
The event attracts around 2,500 runners and 1,000 spectators, includes a Health and Wellness Expo, and supports the Alameda Education Foundation. Participants receive custom shirts, medals, bibs, and post-race food and drinks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
