About the race
J Treequinox is a 12-hour ultramarathon held near downtown Joshua Tree, California, on a private 20+ acre desert property. The race features a 1-mile loop course, allowing runners to pace themselves one lap at a time while enjoying the serene high desert environment. Participants pass through a well-stocked, festive aid station each lap, with space for chairs and coolers close to the course.
The event celebrates the fall equinox and offers custom finisher goods for those completing an ultra distance. Post-race, runners can enjoy a catered meal by a local eatery, The Dez, and relax by a campfire, making it a welcoming and low-key introduction to ultrarunning.
