The Jack Frost 5k Run & 1.5m Walk takes place on Saturday, January 24, 2026 in Springfield, Missouri. The event base is the O’Reilly Catholic Student Center at 847 South Holland Avenue, Springfield, MO 65806. Distances offered include:
- 5K Run
- 1.5 mile walk
- Student / Group 5K
- Student / Group 1.5 mile walk
Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the race. Age groups for awards are Under 15, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and Over 69.
Registration, fees and awards
Standard entry is listed at $40 if submitted by January 23 and increases after that date. Student and group entries are listed at $20. Group discounts are available for teams of 10 or more. All registrations are non-refundable.
All finishers receive a finishing medal. The first 100 registrants are eligible for a T-shirt, with sizes guaranteed only through January 4. Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and to first place finishers by age group for the 5K, with an award ceremony held after the race.
