Javelina Jundred is an ultra running event in McDowell, Arizona, held October 25-26, 2025 at the Four Peaks Staging Area (Javelina Headquarters), 16300 W. McDowell Mountain Park Drive. The event offers the following distances:
- 100 Mile
- 100K
- Jackass 31K
Registration for the event closes Wednesday, Oct 1 at 11:59 PM MT. The race is a Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run qualifier and Golden Ticket Race; automatic qualifying invitations are allocated to the top finishers in each race and may slide down to fifth place if needed.
Course and logistics
The 100 Mile course uses a five-loop format with the start and finish at the Four Peaks Staging Area. Loop 1 is 22.3 miles and includes the Shallmo, Pemberton, and Escondido Trails. Loops 2-5 are each 19.4 miles and include parts of the Cinch, Scenic, Pemberton, and Shallmo Trails. Loops are run one way. The 100K distance covers the first three full loops of the 100 Mile course. Each loop includes about a 600-foot climb from the start/finish to the high point; terrain includes hard-packed granite, rocks, sand, wash beds, saguaro cactus, and granite boulders.
Camping and crew arrangements changed for 2025: crew canopy reservations required a fee and were sold out; long and short RV reservations were sold out. Car camping is hosted in the Competitive Lot with vehicle-contained camping only and no ground tents or vehicle movement during race day.
