Jog with a Frog 5K
The Jog with a Frog 5K & 1 Mile Walk, presented by AQUA DOC Lake and Pond Management, takes place in Painesville Township, Ohio. This event features a 5K run and a 1-mile walk, both starting near Project Hope for the Homeless, the only emergency homeless shelter in Lake County. The 5K course includes roads such as Freedom Road, Newell Street, Blackbrook Road, and Callendar Blvd, with a water stop at a cul-de-sac.
The walk is untimed and shorter, turning around earlier on Newell Street. Awards are given to top finishers in various age groups for the 5K, while the walk has no awards. The race supports raising awareness and funds for Project Hope for the Homeless.
