Joplin Turkey Trot

Joplin Turkey Trot is the 14th annual Thanksgiving morning race in downtown Joplin, Missouri, presented by Freeman Health System. The event features a certified 5K course that starts and finishes in front of the Schroeder Family Exploreum, with the route closed to traffic, along with a 1 Mile Fun Run and a Virtual 5K. As Joplin’s largest 5K, it offers chip timing, start/finish line emcee, music, donuts and coffee, and a festive atmosphere with a professional DJ and on-course photographer.

5K participants can receive a soft event shirt (guaranteed if registered by Nov 14) and a finishers medal. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome; rain or shine. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
