Event
The 2025 Route 66 Race Across Kansas takes place in Galena, Kansas on Saturday, November 29, 2025. The course follows Historic Route 66 in Kansas for the full half marathon distance of 13.2 miles, running from the Missouri/Kansas stateline to the Kansas/Oklahoma stateline.
Distances
- 13.2 miles - in-person Route 66 course, Missouri/Kansas to Kansas/Oklahoma stateline
- Half marathon (virtual) - same distance offered as a virtual option
Runners who register receive a t-shirt. Top three finishers in each age division in the in-person event will receive trophies. Virtual entrants are not eligible for awards.
Logistics
The in-person half marathon has a listed price of $35; the virtual half marathon is listed at $40. The in-person price increases after November 28, 2025 at 11:59pm CST. Registration for the virtual half marathon ends November 28, 2025 at 11:59pm CST. Day-of race registration is listed at $40.
Packet pickup for the in-person event is at 511 Main Street, Galena, Kansas on the morning of the race. Virtual participants will receive the t-shirt by mail. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
