Jump off Rock Half Marathon
The Jump Off Rock Half Marathon and 10k, held annually in Hendersonville, North Carolina, is a scenic and fast endurance running event. The half marathon starts at Jump Off Rock, a national landmark and the highest peak in Laurel Park, offering stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The course is a gently downhill 13.1-mile route leading to downtown Hendersonville’s Main Street.
The 10k begins at the Hendersonville Family YMCA with a moderately flat course featuring gentle rollers. Both races are USATF sanctioned and certified, featuring rolling starts for the half marathon and a mass start for the 10k. Finish line festivities include live music and a vibrant atmosphere in historic downtown.
Participants receive a custom finisher medal, event shirt, goody bag, and complimentary beer for those 21 and older. The event also supports local charities and offers shuttle services, free parking, and a pre-race expo. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
