About the race
The Kappa Delta Derby Dash is a family-friendly 5K held in Louisville, Kentucky, on October 11, 2025. The course takes place at Louisville’s Waterfront Park, around the riverfront area near 1255 River Road. Hosted by the Alpha Xi chapter of Kappa Delta, this annual Shamrock Event raises funds for Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky and Prevent Child Abuse America.
The event welcomes runners, children, and pets, and features post-race activities to celebrate and support the cause. Proceeds support child-wellbeing initiatives and local community programs, reflecting the sorority’s ongoing commitment to welfare through philanthropy.
