Event overview
The Kendall Mountain Runs take place in Silverton, Colorado on Sunday, July 19, 2026. The event offers the following distances:

- 11 Kilometer (approx. 6.8 miles)
The 12-mile course starts in downtown Silverton and climbs from about 9,318 feet to the summit area near 13,060 feet, with roughly 3,960 feet of total elevation gain. The 11K follows a jeep road climb to Deer Park and returns to the finish in Memorial Park.
Course and logistics
The 12-mile route uses jeep roads, finishes with a final 300-foot vertical scramble to the summit area, then descends back to Silverton Memorial Park. The 11K climbs to Deer Park and returns to the same finish. Aid station locations include Deer Park (3.3 miles), the Notch (small aid/water), and the finish; the summit has no aid station. The event is cupless - runners must carry their own container for refills at aid stations. There is a 6-hour time limit for the race. No pacers are allowed and there is no crew access outside the start and finish areas. Drop-bag access is provided at the start/finish area; some aid stations allow drop bags for the 11K.
