Kenmore Cowbell 7K

The Kenmore Cowbell 7K, held in Akron, Ohio, is a unique race combining natural and urban scenery. Starting at the historic Rialto Theatre on Kenmore Boulevard, the course features the newly constructed Summit Lake Trail, Akron’s only glacial lake, and the Ohio & Erie Canal. Runners experience a mix of flat and rolling terrain through picturesque neighborhoods and Akron’s Music Row, known for its guitar shops and percussion.

The event includes adult and student 7K run/walks, a BLVD Mile, and spectator options. Finishers receive a cowbell medal honoring local cheerleader “Grandma Benn.” Proceeds support Akron Public School students with scholarships and mentorship.
