Kettle Moraine
The Kettle Moraine 100 Endurance Trail Races, held annually in June in the Southern Kettles of Wisconsin, offer challenging ultra-distance events including 100-mile, 100k, 50k, and 38-mile races. Established in 1996, the course is predominantly trail-based, with about 65 miles running along the scenic Ice Age Trail, featuring mostly natural terrain with a few road crossings. The event is known for its competitive atmosphere and strong community support, with aid stations and race logistics well organized to support runners.
The race attracts a dedicated field of ultra runners and is part of the Midwest Grand Slam of Ultra-running. Registration fills quickly, reflecting its popularity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
