About the race
Among the Trees is an ultramarathon event held in Dousman, Wisconsin, featuring 100k and 50k race distances. Set within the scenic Southern Kettle Moraine Forest along the historic Ice Age Trail, the course offers runners a challenging and picturesque experience amid vibrant fall colors. Both races start at DJ Mackie Campground on the Scuppernong trails, with the 50k turning around at Emma Carlin and the 100k continuing to Whitewater.
Elevation gains are significant, with 6,493 feet for the 100k and 2,221 feet for the 50k. Finishers receive a unique wooden medal they can brand on-site, with an option to add their finishing time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
