About the race
Tombstone Trot is a unique running event at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha, Wisconsin. It includes a 5K run, a 2-mile walk, and a Kiddos Run (1K) for children; the kids’ race is free and each participant receives a bib and finisher medal. The course winds through historic cemetery grounds, with fall colors and a start/finish area lined with American flags.
Proceeds benefit Friends of Prairie Home Cemetery. Finisher awards include a custom woodle keepsake, plus overall and age-group medals and a 50/50 raffle. The event is produced and timed by Silver Circle Sports Events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
