About the race
Kilkenny Ridge Race, part of Aravaipa’s White Mountain Endurance Cup, takes place in Stark and Jefferson, New Hampshire, on the Kilkenny Ridge Trail through the White Mountain National Forest. It offers 50-mile, 25-mile, and 25K races along a roughly 25-mile traverse with about 7,500 feet of climb per direction (50-mile total ~15,000 ft). The course is wild and remote, with no marking beyond signage; runners must download GPS tracks and carry maps.
It is cupless, with backcountry aid stations and strict gear requirements. Live tracking is available, and Cup finishers earn medals. Maps are provided at bib pickup. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
