About the race
Krueger Reindeer Romp 5K, hosted by the Harris YMCA, is a festive December road race in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event features a 5K course around Harris YMCA at 5900 Quail Hollow Rd and a holiday-friendly atmosphere that supports the YMCA Better Us Campaign to fund programs for local families. A new Ninja Nation obstacle course adds excitement for Joan Bailey Kids Obstacle Course participants, offering a ninja-style challenge for kids alongside the main race.
On December 6, 2025, early registrants receive a sweatshirt. This is the 12th year of this South Park community-building event, sponsored by local partners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
