La Jornada de las Quebradas takes place near Socorro, NM along the Quebradas Backcountry Scenic Highway. Distances listed for the event include:

Course and logistics
The event is described as a minimalist ultra with limited course markings and modest aid stations. Aid stations will provide water and snacks; participants are advised to carry any specific drink mixes or gels they need. Cutoffs are in place and will be strictly enforced at these aid station locations: Byway Aid Station (Mile 7.5), Johnson Hill Aid Station (Mile 17.0), and Byway Aid Station (Mile 24.5). The start area is at a small pullout off the Quebradas byway; the access road is generally drivable by most sedans but includes some washboard sections. There will be at least one rented portable toilet at the start area, and public restrooms are available at Escondida Lake Picnic Area.
