About the race
SSR 5k- Fall Series #3 "Turkey Trot" is a 5k running event held in Socorro, New Mexico, at the City of Socorro Rodeo & Sports Complex. It is the third race in the Socorro Striders and Riders Fall 5k series and embraces a turkey-trot theme. All proceeds and additional donations support the Socorro Storehouse, an emergency food pantry serving Socorro County.
The event offers in-person and virtual participation. Online registration is $5 per person, with in-person registration also $5 on race day. This family-friendly fundraiser blends community spirit with a lightweight, seasonal challenge.
