About the race
The 9th Annual Lake Forest Chamber Elf Yourself 5K is a family-friendly holiday-themed race held at the Lake Forest Sports Park in Lake Forest, California. The fast, flat course is a 2.5-loop loop entirely inside the park, clearly marked with colorful arrows and a lead cyclist for the fastest runners. The event welcomes runners, walkers, strollers, and pets, with a pet parade and awards in age groups plus overall winners.
After the race, a large expo offers samples, vendors, games, crafts, photos with Santa, and a Candy Cane Lane kids’ zone. Photos are free, and volunteers help run the event; the race uses four waves: Fast PR Elves, Speedy Elves, Runner/Jogger Elves, and Walkers/Strollers/Pet Elves.
