Lake Houston BridgeFest 2026
Lake Houston BridgeFest is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026 in Kingwood, TX at 2420 W Lake Houston Parkway, 77339. The event began as a celebration of the opening of the Lake Houston Parkway bridge and has supported the Lake Houston area for 35 years. Net proceeds benefit the Lake Houston Family YMCA and the Rotary Club of the Lake Houston Area. The event includes a family festival and run/walks that bring community members together.
Both the 5K and the 1-mile races will be chip-timed in 2026. Each 5K and 1-mile participant receives a custom bib, a finisher medal, and a Bridge Fest race shirt. Packet pick-up is held at the Lake Houston Family YMCA on the days before the race and on race day. The run/walk events are described as adaptive-friendly.

- 5K - chip-timed race with awards by gender, masters, grand masters, and age groups.
- 1-mile - chip-timed run/walk with overall and youth awards.
The 5K awards include male and female overall, masters (40+), grand masters (60+), and top 3 male and female in age brackets from 10 & under through 70+.
