CFC 100K and 55K
The California Fall Classic at Lake Sonoma is scheduled for October 18, 2025, at the Lake Sonoma Visitor Center in California. The event offers the following distances:

Both races run on courses that navigate miles of single-track trail with views of Lake Sonoma and surrounding wine country during harvest season. The event is part of the Lake Sonoma Race Series and proceeds support the Children of Vineyard Workers Scholarship Fund. The race is a 2026 Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run qualifier. Logistics and policies
Packet pickup takes place in the days before the race at Healdsburg Running Company and there is on-site packet pickup on race weekend. Aid station information and crew driving directions are provided; some aid stations require parking and a short walk from the road, and one crew route follows a scenic, winding country road. The weekend includes free on-site camping, live music, and on-site food and drink options.
Event rules include no littering and respectful behavior toward volunteers and other trail users. Pacers and trekking poles are not allowed. The event enforces a zero-tolerance anti-doping policy and reserves the right to conduct testing. The transgender and non-binary entrant policy references continuous, medically supervised hormone treatment of at least one year for certain registrations. There are no general deferrals or refunds; pregnancy deferrals are allowed for up to two years. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
