About the race
Lake to Lake 8k Trail Run & Dog Woods Walk takes place at Lacawac Sanctuary in Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania. The event offers an 8K trail run through 550 acres of nature trails and access roads on Lacawac grounds, with a separate Dog Woods Walk that's non-competitive. The course is described as outdoor, with technical, rocky, and steep sections; dogs and strollers are not allowed on the 8K, but dogs are welcome on the Woods Walk.
Proceeds support Lacawac’s preservation, environmental education, research, and outreach. RFID timing and live results are provided by Scranton Running Company; parking is limited, carpool encouraged. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
