About the race
The Lakefront Discovery Run is a festive running event held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, featuring a 15k, 5k, and a free Kids Costume Race. Starting at Veteran's Park, the course offers a scenic tour along Milwaukee’s lakefront, enhanced by candy-laden aid stations and "Monster Mile" markers. Participants can run, walk, or skip the course, with awards for overall winners, age groups, and best costumes.
Costume wearers receive free beer, and all runners get an event t-shirt, post-race snacks, and enjoy spooky music. The event celebrates the end of the running season with a fun, community atmosphere and includes a heated tent for post-race festivities.
