The Last Chance Marathon and Half Marathon takes place on December 31, 2025, in Bellingham, Washington, with the venue listed as Fairhaven Park (107 Chuckanut Dr N). Entry fee is $60; registration closes December 30, 2025. Race merchandise is available for purchase (shirt price listed as $25). Finishers receive a Last Chance coin/medal. Course and logistics
Both races use an out-and-back course on the Interurban trail from Fairhaven Park to Clayton Beach; the marathon is the out-and-back run twice. The trail is mostly an old railroad bed with a gravel surface and a tree canopy; Arroyos Park is a 3/4-mile double-track section with a few bridges and hills. The course is described as generally flat with roughly 300 feet of total elevation; conditions may include rain or snow and the course is subject to change if trail conditions require it.
Participants are advised to be self-sufficient and carry water or aid. Aid stations are located about 3.5 miles into the course (off Chuckanut Crest Drive), at the turnaround (Larrabee/Clayton Beach parking), and at the start/finish. Aid stations provide water, an electrolyte drink and snacks. Parking near the pavilion is limited; street parking is available near Fairhaven Middle School.
