Lion Pride 5K

Lion Pride 5K takes place in Wilmington, North Carolina, featuring multiple events: 5K Run, 5K Walk (Untimed), 1 mile, and a 400-meter kids run. The centerpiece is a single-loop, USATF-certified 5K on a fast, flat course starting from St. Mark Catholic School's rear parking lot and winding through the Tanbridge and Windemere neighborhoods.

The atmosphere emphasizes community and celebration, culminating in a finish-line gathering with a food lineup including chicken and beef tacos and hot dogs by the Knights of Columbus. Proceeds support St. Mark Catholic Church and School, making it more than a race—a community event.
