The Little Elm Polar 5K Run & Plunge takes place on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Little Elm Park, 135 Lighthouse Beach Dr, Little Elm, TX 75068. The event includes the following races and activities:
- 5K Run
- 1K Fun Run
- Polar Plunge
Entry prices listed are $40 for the 5K, $35 for the 1K Fun Run, and $25 for the Polar Plunge. Prices increase after October 31, 2025.
Logistics and awards
Early packet pickup for the 5K and 1K is scheduled for Friday, January 2, with time and location to be announced. Event-day packet pickup and registration will also be available. Registration for the 5K and 1K includes registration for the Polar Plunge; an additional plunge t-shirt may be purchased if desired.
The 5K is a timed race. Awards for the 5K will be given to overall, masters, grand masters and age group winners. The 1K is not timed. 5K and 1K participants receive a Polar Run t-shirt, a finisher medal, hot cocoa and donuts. Polar Plunge participants receive a Plunge t-shirt, hot cocoa and donuts. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants registered by December 3, 2025. Plunge awards include best costume, youngest plunger and oldest plunger.
